A practical guide for UK runners
running vest phone holder for solo runners
A running vest phone holder for solo runners can keep a phone close, but it is only one part of run preparation. The Défi zipped chest pocket stores a phone that fits its 20 × 13cm dimensions.

Guide / 01
Set up your phone before leaving
Check battery, route access and emergency contacts, then place the phone in the zipped chest pocket. Test the fit with the case attached before relying on it away from home.
Guide / 02
Plan the route and share it if appropriate
Tell someone your route or expected return time when that suits your circumstances. The vest does not provide tracking, emergency alerting or communications service.
Guide / 03
Check weather protection and comfort
The chest pocket is water-resistant, not waterproof. Adjust the waist over your running clothes within the 26–40in range and test the loaded fit on a short outing.
Good to know
Questions, answered.
